AIRCRAFT TEMPORARY LIVERY

The added bonus in using self-adhesive decals is
that the process is non-hazardous, and can therefore
be carried out during normal routine maintenance, without the need for special paint shop facilities.

Whist at present self-adhesive decals do not offer
the same durability as a painted finish.

Where the ultimate in long service life is not required.
The ability to change or add an operators livery or
display a promotional logo or message for a short
period is made simple, quick, and cost effective by
the application of decals.

The process can also include the apparent removal of the normal operators branding, by applying completely opaque colour matched self-adhesive panels to blank out the existing painted livery.

At the end of the lease or promotion it is a quick and easy task to remove the temporary markings, and return the aircraft to its normal livery.
